Support Groups, Associations and the Old Boys’ Union
The Parents’ Association extends a warm welcome to all those joining the College. All parents of Scots students are automatically members of the Parents’ Association for the duration of their son’s enrolment.
The aim of the Parents’ Association is to build stronger connections between parents and families, the College and other members of the Scots community by:
The Parents’ Association generally holds a meeting every term. Parents are encouraged to become involved and are welcome to attend meetings.
The Women’s Association
The Women’s Association operates as a key fundraising committee within the broader Scots community. It provides a forum for support, friendship, communication and discussion between each other and the College. All female parents and carers of boys currently enrolled at Scots are automatically members of the Women’s Association.
Other Support Groups
The Scots College has a strong parent body that supports the many Sport and Co-Curricular Activities around the College. The Old Boys’ Union
The Scots College has raised generations of fine young men since it was established in 1893. The College’s rich history remains evident in the culture of the College today – a culture built on community, connection and inclusivity – across students, parents, staff, Old Boys and the wider community.
The College’s 7,000-strong Old Boys’ Union is testament to the camaraderie and lifelong friendships that are formed through a Scots education. Scots boys are inspired by the generations of Old Boys who walked the halls before them, including fine community leaders, Rhodes Scholars and world class sportsmen.
All successful graduates from The Scots College are automatically members of the Old Boys’ Union.
