The Early Learning Centre

"The way we teach in the early years must always be done with an eye to the future learning and wellbeing of the boys as they travel from Transition to Year 12. We want the boys to grow the skills that will last a lifetime, upon which a life will grow and thrive." Gaye Entwistle, Director of The Early Learning Centre

The Early Learning Centre (ELC) launches students into the vibrant and stimulating world of education at The Scots College. At the Early Learning Centre, we focus on developing the boys' self discovery, social awareness and interest in learning.

The nurturing environment of the Early Learning Centre provides students with an effortless transition to the Preparatory School. Specialist teachers provide classes in Physical Education, Library Skills, Computing, the Creative and Performing Arts and Christian Studies.

We lead our youngest boys along a wonderful learning pathway that begins with our Cubs and Lions pre-school programs (from three years). We will start them on their journey to become a 'fine Scots boy'.

The Reggio Emilia early childhood philosophy is applied to inspire and encourage boys to pursue their interests, harnessing their natural curiosity. To find out more about the Early Learning Centre please phone +61 2 9391 7711.

The Scots College also offers an Before and After School Care Program.
