Pastoral Care
The underlying Christian focus of the College underpins the pastoral plan and focus of the Preparatory School. This is encouraged through Chapel Services, Christian Studies lessons and Crusader Groups.
- "A Fine Scots Boys! - The Positive Behaviour Plan" is designed to promote the growth of student self responsibility in an environment that is safe, efficient in organisation and operation, encouraging and enjoyable. The Plan focuses primarily on the affirmation of positive behaviours, attitudes and efforts but also encompasses a clearly structured and procedurally fair system of consequences that is used when students do not meet the requirements of the Positive Behaviour Plan.
- Boys from Transition to Year 6 are members of Houses and participate in various sporting, social and competitive experiences as well as classroom experiences. This provides many opportunities for cross grade and campus interaction.
- A Buddies and Peer Support Program operates with boys, Transition to Year 6. Year 6 boys attend a Leadership Camp in Term 1 in preparation for leading the Peer Support Program.
- Boys are encouraged to develop a service attitude through their support of various charities, Transition to Year 6.
