Learning for boys

The Scots College honours the learning and adventures of boys, providing experiences of excellence (including the unique Glengarry outdoor education program) to extend boys and build their strength of character.

Scots is committed to developing a culture of high expectations for all. As a boys' school, we acknowledge the importance of student engagement, of challenge and active learning opportunities. Learning experiences are increasingly personalised, shaped in response to boys' stages of development. To achieve their best, boys need to develop a 'growth mindset'. They develop best in an environment when they feel secure, supported and encouraged to believe in themselves and the power of commitment to learning.
